The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia has been informed by businesses importing Armenian goods into Belgium that the implementation of the EU regulation on autonomous trade measures in the European Union's Integrated Tariff of the European Communities (TARIC) system took some time, and the established preferences had not been technically reflected in the system.

The Ministry provided this information in an official statement.

“The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, through the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the EU, has taken the necessary steps to resolve the issue. The preferential arrangements established for Armenian goods will be fully reflected in the EU's Integrated Tariff of the European Communities (TARIC) system today, November 3, at 19:00 (22:00 Yerevan time).

Customs duties paid by exporters since October 10, when the EU autonomous trade measures entered into force, will be eligible for refunds in accordance with the established procedures,” the statement reads.
